Vaccines or The Hormone Solution

Vaccines: Are They Really Safe and Effective?

Author: Neil Z Miller

Can mandatory vaccines trigger developmental disorders and auto-immune diseases? Does the U.S. government secretly calculate how many people will be permanently disabled and killed from vaccines? Did AIDS originate in diseased monkey organs used to incubate polio vaccines? Are new viruses tested on unsuspecting vaccine recipients? How safe is your child from the near and long-term effects of these "miracle" shots?

Are vaccines really safe and effective? Read what the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO) have to say. Find out what independent researchers have discovered. And listen to distraught mothers testifying before Congress regarding vaccine injury compensation. Then, you be the judge. This comprehensive book is packed with hundreds of important facts and figures. It includes 30 diagrams and more than 900 citations so that all of the information may be confirmed. As a concerned parent, you may then make an informed and responsible decision regarding the benefits and risks of vaccinating your child.

The Hormone Solution: Stay Younger Longer with Natural Hormone and Nutrition Therapies

Author: Thierry Hertogh

America's perceptions about the inevitable effects of aging are about to be completely rethought, thanks to groundbreaking new information from an internationally known expert on hormones and antiaging medicine. Thierry Hertoghe, M.D., has an important message to share: people are aging unnecessarily.

Based on thirty-five years of scientific studies, The Hormone Solution: Stay Younger Longer with Natural Hormone and Nutrition Therapies is the first book that offers a prescriptive program to counter memory loss, weight gain, wrinkles, shrinking muscle mass, impotence, hair loss, and a host of other signs and symptoms of aging. Dr. Hertoghe offers an effective program of hormone replacement therapy using safe, low doses of natural hormones—in conjunction with a healthy diet and vitamin and mineral supplements—to help people maintain physical, mental, and emotional health and literally restore their bodies to a state that's three to twelve years younger than their actual age. He identifies the fifteen main, crucial hormones found in the body and explains the process that restores each one to its correct level.

With a foreword by renowned doctor Barry Sears, The Hormone Solution is filled with self-scoring checklists, eating plans, nutritional prescription plans, and hormone shopping lists that help every reader calculate his or her personal hormone profile. Dr. Hertoghe is revolutionizing the medical field with his work, showing us how to treat chronic illnesses and the large and small aspects of aging by using preventive measures to drastically slow the aging process and its effects without costly procedures and surgeries. The Hormone Solution is alandmark publication that will revolutionize how people age, enabling us to live longer, healthier, and happier lives

Those who are in search of the fountain of youth will find a wealth of detail here concerning the importance of hormone replacement therapy. According to Hertoghe, a physician based in Brussels who is a member of the International Advisory Board of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, "with natural hormones in amounts as close as possible to what your younger body made for itself, you can re-create the same state of health and well-being you once enjoyed." A patient should work in concert with a physician, who will first administer a battery of blood and urine tests to determine hormone levels. After the tests have been analyzed, the patient will describe his or her particular symptoms of aging, such as decreased energy, hair loss or wrinkles. Then a beneficial individual hormone replacement program can be designed to mitigate these conditions. According to Hertoghe, small doses of natural, as opposed to synthetic, hormones are not harmful. He includes such examples as natural estrogen, ACTH, the "growth hormone," melatonin, progesterone and other hormonal substances. This therapy is meant to be undertaken along with supplemental vitamins and a nutritional program also described here. Although the author provides some research data and anecdotal information from his practice, hormone therapy remains controversial and some of Hertoghe's dietary suggestions, such as abstaining from dairy products, may puzzle some readers. His useful information is often buried beneath an overly complex presentation. (Aug.) Copyright 2002 Cahners Business Information.
